Atlanta, GA – November 2, 2020 – Kelly Brand Management (KBM), a sales, marketing, and business management consultancy, has been keeping up with their eCommerce client’s businesses during an unpredicted year. Companies such as Swhacker, C’Mere Deer, and TAC Vanes have been doing really well despite COVID-19.
Jake Lindsey, director of operations at Kelly Products, Inc. said, “All of our outdoor and hunting brands have done really well through the pandemic. People are not traveling as much, and spending more time at home. They are spending more time and money on their hobbies. We sell Swhacker broadheads and C’Mere Deer attractants for hunting. Hunters are spending more time in the woods this year because of the extra time they have.”
According to the website, IBM, eCommerce sales are expected to increase by 22% this year. The main cause of this is because during the pandemic, most people stay inside and order from online, which correlates to the outdoor industry. There is a limitation on what you can do, so people are discovering the outdoors is the perfect place to social distance and stay safe.
“With many brick and mortar retailers closed for part of the year and implementing other restrictions, Ecommerce creates an easy way for consumers to purchase goods in which they might otherwise purchase in a store. Ecommerce also allows consumers who may have pre-existing conditions another avenue for purchasing products rather than in-person purchasing,” said Lindsey.
For some companies, influencers have helped their business outreach such as TAC Vanes. “I believe a lot of our success comes from Levi Morgan having a huge reach, without a doubt. Our other top professionals also have large reaches and have helped promote the brand a lot,” said Randy Groff, operations manager at TAC Vanes. “Another factor that I do feel helped was people being home and wanting to get outside and shoot their bows. The more a person shoots, the more equipment they purchase.”
So, what does the future look like? According to Lindsey, eCommerce will continue to grow after the pandemic is over. “It is up to us as manufacturers and suppliers to continue to adapt with the shift and not rest on ‘this is how we’ve always done it’. We must continue to find more efficient ways to serve our end customers while utilizing and taking advantage of what this platform has to offer.”
